Call for opens and IBIS related patent disclosures: - None AR Review: - Mike send completed spreadsheet to Bob for review. - Spreadsheet still not ready yet. Parser Development: - Bob: A number of questions are being raised by the developer. - The specification has some holes. - There is a problem with error 5202. - We did not specify that a parameter file extension could be empty. - That became error 5202 in IBISCHK6. - Mike: That should be eliminated before release. - Bob: We probably could have specified a fixed file extension. - Mike: Can it be .ami? - Bob: It can be. - Bob: Also it is an error for Converter_parameters to have a space in the parameter syntax. - The spec does not address this, Atul wants the restriction. - Mike: This is only for the name=value format? - Bob: Yes. - Bob: I asked Atul to work on some memory leak problems. - Bob: We do not check Vinh < Vinl. - We also have some errors that trigger other errors. - Bob: When checking a external parameter file, Format List causes a crash. - Also there is no default for Dirac and Gaussian, they have no concept of a single value. - Mike: The spec allows them to be used for external parameters? - Bob: It does not explicitly disallow it. - Bob: String parameters are brought into the parser with double quotes in place. - Mike: Programmers will have to be aware of that. AR: Bob send IBISCHK 6.0.3 to Mike for testing IBIS Quality presentation for DAC summit: - Bob showed a presentation. - Bob: We need a new message table slide without the "Used" column. - The parser release date likely will be in June. AR: Mike send updated sample IBISCHK message table slide to Bob IBISCHK Document: Meeting ended: 12:08 Next meeting May 27
